ReceiptPronto is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts to create, so we hold no names, emails, or passwords. The receipts you build live in your browser, not on our servers. What remains is anonymous, aggregate usage measurement — enough to see which pages are used, nothing that identifies you.
Every line you type — business names, items, amounts, uploaded logos — is processed and stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It is never transmitted to us, and we could not read it if we wanted to. Clearing your browser data removes it entirely; so can the Reset button in the builder.
To understand whether the product works, we collect anonymous, aggregate signals:
None of this includes receipt content, and we don't build individual profiles or sell any data to anyone.
We use browser storage to remember your receipt between visits and to run anonymous analytics. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Blocking storage in your browser will still let you build receipts — they just won't survive a page reload.
The site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure processes requests (including IP addresses) to serve pages, and whose privacy-friendly analytics give us the aggregate statistics described above. If we add further providers — for example to support optional accounts or payments in the future — this policy will name them before they handle any of your data.
Because we hold no personal data about visitors, most data-rights requests have a happy, short answer: there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete. Your receipt data is under your direct control in your own browser. If you believe we do hold something about you, email us and we will investigate and respond.
If how we handle data changes — especially if accounts or payments are ever introduced — this policy will be updated first, with the revision date shown at the top of the page.
Questions about privacy go to support@receiptpronto.com. A person reads it.
